PHP & MySQL Website Development

I use a range of experience to achieve development objectives. I prefer to use the PEAR framework of classes which help in speeding up the development process as well as providing consistency for multiple web browsers. I use OOP (Object-oriented programming) to keep code maintainable and scalable. I have worked on many projects which have required that code be upgraded to increase consistency and maintainability and strongly believe that well structured code will have a direct impact on profitability (reduction in post-development costs). Open Source Content management systems such as Drupal and Joomla have also provided leverage and scalability to develop industry standard content managed websites (like this one which has been developed using Drupal).

Flex Applications

Flex has provided a platform to leverage websites into the next generation of websites which have a strong focus on RIA (Rich Internet Applications). I have developed a couple of multi-player games which harness the collaboration classes provided by Adobe LCCS (LifeCycle Collaboration Service) to provide a real-time game experience with chat capabilities.

Flash Animation

Flash animation is a versatile and affordable way to add some sparkle to a website through dynamic motion. Please have a look at the walking character I have developed as an inspiration for a short animation film. You may have also noticed the logo animation wich appears on the About Us page on this website.
